Rachel Moss is an actor, singer and dancer who has worked professionally in the New York Tri-State area since she was just nine years old. She first dipped her toes into the musical theatre world when her mother forced her to go to acting camp, and has not lost her passion since being introduced to this art form.

Rachel has been involved with projects in both film and theatre since she was a child. Some of her favorite childhood credits include performing at Paper Mill Playhouse’s production of Summer and Smoke, and recording voiceovers for a Playhouse Disney animated promo. She also worked in the off-Broadway and touring production of The People Garden for the last five years of the original production. She performed this musical at The York Theatre as well as toured to various elementary schools in the New York Tri-State area. She even became the fifth person in the show’s ten year history to play all ten roles (five girls, five boys). Rachel has also acquired a taste for being on the other side of the table by being the youngest person to intern and work as a casting assistant for Paladino Casting in New York.

Recently she has worked for Sea World Entertainment performing as a dancer at Sesame Place Amusement Park. At Sesame Place she danced both in and out of full body character costume in the parades and stage shows for the summer, Halloween and Christmas seasons. In addition to dance, she was able to utilize her acting training as she portrayed these notable Sesame Street characters that are seen on television everyday.

She will graduate from Muhlenberg College in May 2017 with a BA in dance and theatre concentrating in dance education and acting. Attending college allowed her to bridge the gap from being a cute little kid actor, to a more mature, well-rounded adult actor. At Muhlenberg she works as a peer tutor for Spanish and performs with Bag and Baggage Shakespeare Project (BBSP), and serves as their managing director and public relations coordinator. BBSP is a devised Shakespeare performance ensemble that creates original, site specific work on campus. She is also involved with the Muhlenberg Community Tap Ensemble, under the direction of Shelley Oliver, which performs at local schools and nursing homes in the Allentown community.

Rachel has been a member of SAG-AFTRA since 2007 and is an equity member candidate.
